High Sugar Levels in the Blood
"Glucodan" strengthens the action of the pancreas and stimulates it to produce insulin naturally.
Insulin reduces the levels of sugar in the blood by helping the body to absorb it more efficiently. As a result, the body has a better ability to use that sugar to produce energy and build cells.
Diabetes is known as one of the harshest and most common diseases in modern age.
Diabetes has many negative effects on the several body systems.
Symptoms of diabetes include:
- Increased thirst
- Weakness and fatigue
- Frequent urination
- Constant hunger
- Weakened eyesight
Glucodan naturally aids in reducing the levels of sugar, reviving the pancreas, and improving liver function.
After reducing blood sugar levels, relief is felt in many of the effects of diabetes:
- general feeling of improvement and strengthening of the body
- Healing of "diabetes wounds" caused through the lack of proper blood flow to different body parts
- Improvement of eyesight
- Improvement of sexual functioning.
Glucodan contains: Gymnema sylvestre, Trigonella foenum-graecum (Fenugreek), Olive leaves (Olea europea), Eucalyptus spp, Taraxacum officinale Radix (Dandelion), Known as helpful in treating diabetes.
The following is a summary of studies on the olive leaves also found in Glucodan
Scientific studies on olive leaves and type 2 diabetes
Traditional medicine in Europe and in the Middle East included the fruits and leaves of the olive tree for many generations. These traditional medicines came in various forms – as herbal teas, extracts, powder, and oil.
Study 1: In a study published in the Journal of Medicinal Foods in 2012, researchers conducted a randomized controlled trial to examine the effect of consumption of olive leaves on blood sugar balance in type 2 diabetics.
Research design: The researchers randomly divided the 79 subjects into two groups — the treatment group that received a daily dose of 500 mg of olive leaf extract in tablets for three and a half months, and the control group that received a placebo in the same dose.
Results: The results of the experiment showed that the blood sugar level of the subjects in the treatment group was significantly lower than the blood sugar level of the subjects in the control group. Based on evidence from testing sand rats in the lab, the researchers argued that olive leaves may lower human blood sugar levels by the reduction of starch digestion and absorption.
Study 2: The virtues of the olive tree were also examined in a study published in 2017 in the journal Nutrition & Diabetes.
Research design: This study is a meta-analysis, that is, a statistical analysis that integrates and examines many previous studies on a specific phenomenon. The study examined the effect of olive oil consumption on type 2 diabetes in 29 experiments and in another large sample that included 15,784 diabetics.
Results: One finding indicated a 16% reduction in the risk of developing diabetes through consumption of olive oil. Another finding showed that, among diabetics, consuming olive oil significantly lowers blood sugar levels and improves insulin functioning.
Conclusion: Based on these findings, among others, the researchers concluded that consuming olive oil is beneficial for the prevention and management of type 2 diabetes.
