Li's testimonial

Hello, my name is Li, I am 33 years old.

I drink “Raziti tea” 5 minutes before any meal, 3 glasses a day.

If you follow the instructions, the feeling of hunger disappears, and thus you eat less.

Even when tempted by sweets, I first drink “Raziti tea” and then the immediate feeling of hunger disappears.

The following is a summary of studies on Stevia, which is one of the ingridients in Razitonit Tea.

Stevia leaves for sweetening and weight loss - findings from randomized controlled trials

The stevia plant originates in the rainforests of South America and is known as the "sweet medicinal plant of Paraguay". Stevia leaves are sweet and free of calories and sugar. Therefore, people with diabetes increasingly use stevia for sweetening. Moreover, the use of natural stevia leaves has no side effects, in contrast to the side effects that may exist in various artificial sweeteners.

Because of these properties, many people around the world choose to sweeten their drinks and food using stevia leaves instead of sugar in order to lose weight. But are stevia leaves really able to help with weight loss?

A recent study published in the journal Nutrients examined this question using a randomized controlled trial. The researchers recruited 28 patients and randomly divided them into two groups. The treatment group received stevia leaf extract on a daily basis, while the control group did not receive the treatment. The researchers followed both groups for 12 weeks. At the end of the period, the researchers found a statistically significant difference between the two groups: the patients in the control group gained weight, while the patients in the treatment group who consumed the stevia leaves on a daily basis maintained their weight. Since this is a randomized controlled trial, it can be determined with a particularly high level of confidence that the lower weight among the subjects in the treatment group is a direct result of the consumption of stevia leaves. The researchers concluded that stevia helps maintain weight.[1]

Another study, published in The Journal of Nutrition in 2020, examined how consuming a beverage sweetened with stevia, compared to other sweeteners based on glucose or sucrose, affects appetite and satiety. The researchers randomly assigned subjects to receive various beverages before their lunch without knowing what type of beverage they were consuming. In order to measure the subjects' appetite, the researchers asked the subjects to rate their appetite on a scale ranging from 0 to 100. The results of the experiment showed that the consumption of the beverage sweetened with stevia caused a decrease in short-term appetite and a feeling of satiety compared to the consumption of beverages sweetened with sugar.[2]

The findings from these two experiments provide strong and clear evidence that the stevia plant not only does not contain calories, but also contributes to a feeling of satiety and helps with weight loss.

Obesity and Overweight across the World

The western world suffers today from problems of overweight that have reached epidemic proportions, as well as deficient nutrition deriving from the prevalence of processed foods containing chemicals, preservatives and other flavoring and coloring materials.

In 1975, 20% of the world population has suffered from overweight or obesity. Today, the figure is about 40% (with 650 million who suffer from obesity around the world). Across the globe, obesity has nearly tripled since 1975.

In western countries such as the United States and Great Britain, more than 2/3 of the population suffer from either overweight or obesity.

Obesity increases the chances of diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and vascular disease.

In Israel, youths aged 13-15 are ranked in third place after the United States and Greece.

As a response to this world obesity epidemic, the Israeli company Nufar Natural Products has developed a herbal tea called “Razitonit” Tea.

Razitionit Tea contains: Stevia, medicinal dandelion, fennel, Gymnema Sylvestris, green tea, olive leaves, medicinal sage, eucalyptus and mint.

These medicinal herbs are known to stimulate a feeling of satiaty and reduce cravings.

How does it work?

The medicinal herbs in this new tea help the surplus sugars and carbohydrates in the blood enter the cells, which nourish them and give them the energy our bodies need.

When the body’s cells have been nourished with the food and energy they need, they send “full” signals to the brain, which stops the constant feeling of hunger. As a result of this, we eat smaller quantities and we gradually lose weight.

Razitonit Tea also contains the herb Stevia and thus is naturally sweet and palatable without any sugar or calories.

Another important herb in Razitionit Tea is Dandelion (Taraxacum) which improves the digestion process -- another factor that contributes to weight reduction.

Weight loss and diet

A proper and healthy diet is recommended to be based on multiple vegetables, whole grains that contain dietary fiber, legumes, nuts, lean cheese, and yogurt. Other foods recommended to be moderately consumed are fish, chicken, fruits and unsaturated fats that we get from olive oil, avocados, tahini and more. It is worthwhile to avoid sugar and saturated fats and minimize red meat as much as possible.

It is recommended to eat until the point of satiety—not beyond it, but not remaining hungry either. Being hungry will make it difficult to stick to a long term diet.

Exercise

It is of course recommended to persevere with moderate exercise, at least 3-4 times a week. Those who engage in regular exercise increase the muscle mass in their body. The muscles in our body consume more calories at all hours of the day (even at rest), and this is one of the reasons why those who do sports are thinner.

Disease prevention

Proper diet that reduces weight at a moderate pace as well as engaging in sports, reduces the risk of developing diseases, such as: heart disease, diabetes, hypertension and more.

Tips for proper diet:

• Whole wheat bread gives a feeling of satiety for a long time and helps maintaining a proper diet.

Whole wheat bread contains natural dietary fiber. Dietary fiber contains complex carbohydrates. The complex carbohydrates are more difficult to digest. The body makes a greater effort to digest them and burns more calories in the process, so they contribute to our body fewer calories than simple carbohydrates found in regular white bread.

In addition, the digestion time of the complex carbohydrates is longer and therefore they contribute to a feeling of satiety for a longer time.

  • What is better - fruit juices or whole fruits?

It is better to eat whole fruits than to drink fruit juice. The whole fruit contains dietary fiber that contributes to a feeling of satiety for a longer time. Whole fruits contain more vitamins and minerals than fruit juice, since during the processing and storage of the juice some of the vitamins and minerals break down and disappear.

  • What is better for your diet - fruits or vegetables?

The fruits contain a large amount of sugar so it is advisable to limit the amount to 3 fruits per day.

Vegetables are low in sugar and calories so they are better for a proper diet. It is recommended to eat a lot of vegetables, during the meal and to make vegetable snackbetween meals to avoid feeling hunger between meals.

  • Weight loss rate

It is best to go on a moderate diet and lose weight at a rate of up to 1kg (2.2 pounds) per week. Rapid weight loss usually decreases muscle mass. We prefer the weight loss to be driven by fat mass rather than muscle mass.

Rapid weight loss causes the body to resist weight loss. The body slows down the metabolism and reduces the intake of calories and therefore could reach a state where the weight loss stops.

The right way to lose weight is to follow a moderate diet and incorporate moderate exercise. This combination causes moderate weight loss. Such a decline can be more durable and last for a long time. Results become apparent with time. Having a moderate diet makes it easier to maintain weight in the long term and prevents it from regaining weight again and again.

Factors that interfere with weight loss:

• Age - with increasing age it is more difficult to lose weight. The decrease is slower and harder to be achieved.

• Health problems and diseases make it more difficult to lose weight:

• Diabetes

• Hypothyroidism - The thyroid gland is responsible for metabolism. When it is underactive, its metabolic rate slows down resulting in weight gain.

As mentioned, obesity can cause heart disease, diabetes and high blood pressure. That is why reducing body weight and engaging in sports are important for maintaining our health.
